Case Basse is a farm located southwest of Montalcino. Only Sangiovese Grosso grapes are grown here, from which the famous Brunello wine is produced. The grapes are harvested by hand.
The most traditional winemaking and exceptional attention to detail: vinification in open oak barrels of whole berries without temperature control; bottling without clarification and filtration; specially designed bottles and corks (bottle hangers are wider, a significant depression in the bottom of the bottle, a more elongated neck,
the darker glass of the bottles has a protective function, the increased length of the cork). Brunello di Montalcino "Riserva Soldera" is aged for up to five years in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Color: Wine of noble ruby red color.
Aroma: The complex, refined aroma of wine intertwines tones of violets,
soft notes of wild cherry and licorice, hints of tobacco and dried herbs.
Taste: Intense and at the same time surprisingly elegant taste of wine is gradually revealed by subtle undertones and nuances of a multifaceted palette of tastes. Perfectly structured, with impeccable balance, the wine has an incredibly long, harmonious finish.
Gastronomic Pairings: Wine can be enjoyed without gastronomic accompaniment, but gourmet gourmet cuisine will be able to favorably set off the characteristics of Soldera.
