Port White Surozh is produced from a special grape variety - White Kokur. Some more varieties of European grapes, which can be found in the Sudak and Alushta valleys, are added to the grapes. This is an excellent strong collection wine.
The color of the wine ranges from golden to amber, and the color is quite even and full.
The color depends on what year you taste the wine. Before the 1955 harvest, its color is really golden, but after it it becomes dark amber.
And the aroma of the wine is quite unusual for this type of wine. It is more like the aroma of Tokaj wines, with fruit and honey tones in it. The taste of the wine is very full, at the same time soft,
gentle and harmonious enough. It contains tones from ripe pear and a little from quince. It has a slight pungency and a slight aftertaste.
For his special taste he was awarded 3 gold medals.
