Since 1944, Massandra has been making an excellent collection of red strong Port wine. During its production, very different varieties of red grapes are selected - these are Cabernet, and Saperavi, and Aletiko, and Bastardo Magarachsky, and several other similar types, and all in order for the wine to acquire a very unusual aroma and taste.
The color of the wine is very ruby, with distinct pomegranate and velvety shades.
The bouquet of the wine - in view of the fact that many varieties were used in the production - is very complex. It is ripe, fruity, with very distinct notes of dried fruit.
The taste of the wine is a harmonious continuation of the aroma. It is soft, harmonious and velvety,
it contains all the same notes of dried fruits that were in the aroma, only more distinct. In addition, a little spicy cherry range with a vanilla hint is added to the taste.
