The wine is a clear, deep garnet-red color. The aroma of the wine is a delightful symphony, woven of notes of red fruits and cherry pits, which are replaced by subtle nuances of spices, toast, tobacco, earth and minerals. The wine shows a full, well-balanced taste with notes of juicy fruit, chocolate nuances,
exquisite tannins and a long aftertaste. Delightful, refined, bright wine "Chateau Clerc Milon" is made from five grape varieties grown on 40-year-old vines. The vineyard area is 43.6 hectares, the soil is gravel. Harvesting for vintage 2011 took place from 12 to 28 September 2011.
After vinification "Chateau Clerc Milon" is aged for 16 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Wine storage potential is 15-20 years.
The wine label "Chateau Clerc Milon" depicts dancing clowns covered with precious stones - this is a copy of the work of German jewelers of the XVI century,
which can be seen at the Chateau Mouton Rothschild Museum "Wine in Art".
