On the west coast of the Isle of Arran lies the windswept peat bog Machrie Moor. Stone circles and large stones are scattered throughout the barren area. Machrie Moor is a young and hot whiskey. It can suddenly burn with spices, which then quickly give way to a sweet-creamy note infused with a light ember smoke.
Does not undergo cold filtration and staining. In the production of this whiskey, all elements and technologies are skillfully selected to create a harmonious combination of aroma and taste based on malt, peat and oak barrels. Whiskey has a clean, but young and scorching taste that quickly subsides,
to reveal a wonderful, creamy blend of sweet notes of vanilla, honey and malted barley, followed by pungent notes of lemon zest with a hint of salt and a soft, subtle note of peat smoke at the end.
